Google Listings

2002 signaled the emergence of Google as far and away the most important listing for any company.  As of June 2005, Google controls better than 50% of the search market.  Besides their own site, Google provides listings for many other major companies.  While some companies complain of difficulties in getting onto Google, McGee Designs' customers get thoroughly listed with Google.  Using a variety of techniques that have Google's approval, our customers have noticed spikes in sales when their Google listing kicks in.  (We do not SPAM the Google index as do those many marketing companies do with their use of link farms and the like.  This is a good way to get your site kicked out of Google.)  Instead we set up the sites so as to be fully readable by Google, and we locate quality links that boost our customer's rankings within Google.

Google Adwords

2003 has signaled the arrival of Google Adwords as the most cost effective Internet advertising on the market today.  While Overture (formerly GoTo) pioneered the concept of buying keywords so as to come up on the first page of searches, the value of their services diminished as it was diluted by questionable partnerships.  As of 2004, Overture was purchased by Yahoo which has made it a potentially useful adjunct to Google Adwords.   Despite these recent changes, we continue to focus on Google Adwords as it has given return on investment to our customers.  McGee Designs has crafted several very successful Google Adwords campaigns.  As one example, our Google Adwords campaign doubled our customer's sales from $2,000,000 to $4,000,000.

Google Catalogs & Froogle

Also emerging onto the market is Google Catalogs and Froogle.  Google Catalogs takes the customer's hard copy of their catalog and makes every word searchable on the Internet.  Froogle is Google's online shopping search.  McGee Designs has experience in getting customers found on these sites.
